"Been with state farm for years and finally someone backed into me and i got 2 estimates dealer first then my sons bodyshop that i owned and operated for 30 plus years doing all insurance work for all companies! Dealer estimates 5200 and appearance unlimited 4800 ford was a month out so i went to appearance unlimited, called to find out about loaner and whats next and they said they sent a check for 3800 based on pictures this was all they would pay unless there was a supplement witch means more damage not seen,they would then mail the rest of the original estimate. In all my years of no accidents or claims they wanted to steal from me because i chose a bodyshop out of network! No matter how you look at it its theft. I blame state farm not my home town people but felt they could have helped me out and been more educated on collision repair and the estimating policies. Poor poor services when i needed them."

And, I understand the additional work it is causing you due to labor charges not being included in your initial estimate. We appreciate your patience as you navigate the supplement process, and I'm confident that with your experience in the body shop industry, it should be a quick task – 10 minutes max. If you need assistance with the supplement submission – give us a call. As always, you are welcome to choose any shop you prefer for the repairs, including your own – the process is just a little bit different if it is not a “Select Service” provider – I attempted to explain this to you when we spoke. The claim was submitted late afternoon on Oct. 14th. State Farm mailed out the initial check on the morning of the 17th. We aim to process these as quickly as possible. This is the reason my team member, Karren, talked to you to explain the process on Friday. Once we receive the supplement, we'll promptly send out the additional funds.
